As I, V. SANKARA REDDY, RPFC-I, AHMEDABAD REGION have taken over the charge of this region from Shri S. S. Nair, RPFC-I with effect from 01/01/2009, I would like to assure all our stakeholders that the commitment made by my predecessor will be continued and the efforts for increasing our efficiency in all fields will be continued.
We are aware that interest rate for the P.F. subscribers under the EPF Scheme, 1952 has been declared in July, 2008 and compilation of Annual Accounts for the year 2007-08 began thereafter. You will be pleased to note that 96.01% have been completed for issue of statement of accounts for the year 2007-08 and the remaining accounts will also be compiled before completion of the financial year.
Our website is being updated regularly and wherever accounts are prepared for 2007-08 it is immediately reflected in it.
Let me also take the opportunity to request the establishments, which have not so far forwarded the Form No.3A/6A [Annual Returns] for the year 2007-08, to file it immediately so as to facilitate this office for preparation of the accounts. We propose to file prosecutions in respect of all such establishments who fail to do so.
